Agnes has been working as HFAW treasurer and consultant but now has taken a more active role of project manager. Agnes is actively involved in the actual project implementations and volunteers a lot. She assists in trainings, communications, logistics and report writing. Agnes recently took a volunteer position with the global Ministries or three months in USA and gained experience that is helping in project implementation. She also helps in finance and accounts matters as well as overall management and operation of the organization. Previously, Agnes has worked as Associate Consultant at Africa Institute for Children Studies; as Participated in Oxfam’s Gender and Power Analysis in Nairobi’s Five Informal settlements. And a youth facilitator at Huru International. She is also Facilitator in training on menstrual health and hygiene and life skills to primary and secondary school. She also trains and mentors girls on how to use, famines products and proper care and maintain hygiene when using the reusable sanitary towels and educate parents on the importance of being involved in their girl child’s life. Agnes took popular education training in Chile in 2016 and is instrumental in using this approach in all HFAW projects. Agnes holds a Bsc. Disaster Management and international diplomacy and is currently pursuing a MA degree in Gender and Development Studies.
